For all of those using the main trail the spur is a wonderful diversion. It is a great way to go into or from Colchester for lunch or a coffee. But unfortunately the trail is in pretty rough shape, especially in the Hebron section. It is a shame because I think that it would be used often and bring more people onto the main trail BTW: the Lebanon section is progressing toward Willimantic. There are about five miles nearly finished. The stone dust surface will be applied in the next few weeks to the two new sections. P.

Thank you for your insight and suggestions regarding this burgeoning epidemic. Our family is thoroughly pleased with the many diverse park and rec. programs as well as the well-kept areas to enjoy the outdoors. We appreciate your diligence and care toward improving the community.

I was at the same conference and I was also amazed at this simple concept of optimal defaults. Rather than forcing people to choose or seek out healthy alternatives, people would automatically be in a healthy circumstance.
My co worker and I tried to apply it to some things we do in Groton. We have free family swim. We require registration for the program. What is everyone is regisitered and can come when ever the please?
I love this concept and I have already used it in my home with the food we eat. No white bread, no white potatoes, if it isn't there its an automatic default. By the way Dr. Kelly Brownell, keynote was called Is There the Courage to Change the American Diet? Do we??
